Main Roads WA counts vehicle traffic throughout Western Australia. Strategic locations are monitored on a continuous basis and are referred to as Network Performance Sites (NPS). The telemetry is able to discriminate between cars and trucks and can discern the number of axles to determine the configuration of the vehicle.
