Hunt Range Track

The Hunt Range Track starts near the base of Bungalbin and runs 92 kilometres north-east to the Evanston-Menzies Road.

The track passes through open woodland into sparser, drier, goldfields country to the north. There are numerous rockholes and other water sources along its length including Pittosporum Rockhole, Kurrajong Rockhole, Curara Rockhole, and Maninga Soak.

Little information is available on the construction of the track although it was likely made by prospectors and/or sandalwood cutters. Later it was developed and maintained by government doggers and later still it has become a popular route for four wheel drivers.
