The well here is not a Hunt's Well. The Caroling Rock C.C. Hunt referred to in his field book and journal was at Karalee Rock. See Karalee Well for full details.

History

The well at present-day Caroling Rocks is not one of Hunts. It is of a  later vintage, probably built when the Coolgardie railway was built in the 1890s.
